SPRING FLORALS
CREATIVE STYLING: SPRING FLORALS
This spring, florals are taking on a more rebellious role. Still romantic, but with a touch of destruction. Think petals sewn through paper, or a single flower bitten mid-frame. It’s the contrast between beauty and impermanence that makes these visuals so magnetic.
The goal is to create visual interest - yes I have to mention it again - something that makes your viewer stop scrolling for a few seconds longer. Whether it’s using a projector to cast oversized blooms across a models face or packaging fresh petals inside a clear polymailer for boutiques, each touch of creativity pulls the viewer deeper into the story.
Your selected color palette can play a leading role here too. Select hues with purpose - or use one from one from the concept library. Match your florals to your brand palette or lean into color drenching for a strong visual statement.
You can also use florals to connect directly to your product’s scent or ingredients. For rose-based candles or skincare, crush the blooms beside the product. Or for a lavender scented item, instead of a perfect flatlay with lavender sprinkled around the item, go for a bushel of them dipped in lavender paint. The goal is to visually match evoke an unexpected feeling, keeping it simple but sensory.
Styling spring florals isn’t about the bouquet, it’s about creating a feeling. Something daring or soft. Something that reminds your audience that your brand thinks & feels differently.
This is how you make florals feel new again, not by arranging them perfectly, but by reimagining how they live inside your visual world.
